I'm a birth and labor doula supporting queer, trans, and intersex folks through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My work is sex positive, trauma-informed, and rooted in joy – I come to doula work from a background in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), as a sex educator and reproductive rights advocate.

My identity as a nonbinary lesbian is at the core of my work. I’ve had wonderful, affirming medical experiences and some less-than-wonderful ones. Medical spaces don't always get it right for queer and trans people. I'm here to advocate for you, protect your dignity, and help you feel secure, comfortable, and celebrated.

what is a doula // why work with a doula

A doula is trained, nonclinical support for pregnancy, labor, and birth - someone whose only job is providing continuous care for you.

I'm not there to catch the baby or make medical calls. A doula helps you understand your options, provides physical and emotional support, and supports you in preparing for your labor, birth, and postpartum.

Pregnancy and birth are some of the hardest things a person can do, and you shouldn't have to navigate them solo.

Research shows doula-supported births tend to mean shorter labors, fewer interventions, and higher satisfaction with the birth experience overall.
